When classic cars become still life sculptures, parked faraway from the highway, they dream of escaping the local landscape for the open road.
This photographic series depicts “brake” time for the “tired,” oil blooded, cars that were inspired by rockets and jets to travel smoother and faster with the open sky advertising inside their chrome bumpers. These ubiquitous objects with their big grin grills. metal bow ties, mustaches, and beards.explain how the wind flows. My decisions on composition and color can only try to convey the care free feeling of a roaring engine inside a beautifully painted box; Who cares that cars are massed produced, no two are truly alike! They all lead lives of their own.
Please enjoy your ride.
