As a Reiki Practitioner and Trainer it is important to me that I not only create beautiful adornments for my customers, but that I share positive energy with them.
I design and create wearable art for the individual, their home, family and friends. All of my uniquely designed pieces are infused with loving Reiki energy, with the well-being of my customers in mind. I work primarily with gemstones and crystals for the healing qualities along with wire, porcelain, crystals, wood and other materials.

I studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Design in New York and took a class where I explored knotting pearls on silk wire. That experience was inspirational and addictive. I was hooked! I have since both taken and given several classes on various jewelry making techniques and have amassed an extensive library of books, films and patterns on jewelry making.

I love being reintroduced to a process or skill that I discovered several years ago, as I feel I gain different perspectives every time. I am inspired by the world around me, whether it is a pattern in a piece of fabric or the way silverware lands at the bottom of the sink when I am washing dishes; I find the interpretation of what I see very stimulating for my designs. I am inspired by everyday occurrences, both large and small.

I often create while listening to music which can be as diverse as Chopin to Club/Dance, and further inspiration comes when I am experiencing nature, such as hiking, or walking, which is my absolute favorite thing to do. The beat of the music or my footsteps can create a pattern which I attempt to recreate in my designs.

I am a non-conformist, and I believe you will see that in my artwork. Just because society believes you should not wear white after Labor Day, does not mean you cannot stylishly break the rules. And yes…stripes and polka dots can blend.

As a person who absolutely adores color, chances are slim that you will not see something dull in my designs. I believe we all have shining elemental character traits, and I attempt to show that externally with the pieces I create.

I enjoy collaborating with my return clients as I like seeing how diversity in thinking manifests into a tangible piece. As a Reiki Practitioner I often use gemstones and crystals to expand on the energy work I undertake with clients, and I have copied that pattern with my artwork; using gemstones, not only for their lovely colors, but for their energetic properties as well. Part of my process of creating is pulling out several things that I think may go together, and the funniest thing about this process are the things I am absolutely sure will enhance each other, often do not. I have learned to allow myself to be very open when creating, and the most incredible things happen when I embrace my craft in this manner.
