Born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1965. Graduated from the School of Architecture at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. Niv is currently living and working as an architect in New York City. He is mostly interested in unraveling the immediate sub-conscious truths. His abstract images possess both human and machine-like manifestations; together they create a dynamic and intense composition of vibrant colors and broad strokes.

Most of his work is done on medium to large size canvases using charcoal and oil paint. Niv’s work is passionate and embraces a tremendous amount of emotion formed around everyday events and life experiences.
