I'm a "Drawer" who prefers plaster and photography for mediums. I create surfaces and make believe places.

I prefer to draw, to reduce marks made versus add layers to a surface. In parallel, I like the formality and distance that photography provides. My work is a mix of both, making surfaces and objects with plaster and pigments in the way one would draw, then photographing these elements into make-believe landscapes.
These stories and landscapes are meant to capture the invisible, hidden drivers in life. For me, these drivers are about change and churn, about steps to take, and about quiet meditation.
