When I was 4 years old we lived in a Quonset hut. I would paint the outside with water from a coffee can and watch the surface change color and then change back as it dried, it was hypnotic.
I started taking photos with a box camera in my early teens and have been shooting ever since. First you shoot the details, then the big picture and if youíre lucky you finally see that what youíre after is the concept.Ē
Iíve tried to do a lot of other things in my life, but canít get away from the visual. Paint, light, ink, crayons; it doesnít matter as long as you can get someone to look at it and see something beyond the immediate image, connect with something that really isnít there.
