I try to create work based on a variety of subjects, including landscapes, abstracts, and the many views of nature. Science, engineering, and industry and associated machinery also capture my interest.

Photography is my means of viewing the world from different perspectives, and sharing that view with others. I have captured images throughout my near and far travels, and find beauty in unexpected places in my work as a geologist.

I enjoy creating abstracts as a way of exploring random shapes and patterns. These images may be single photographs, or composites, and reflect a range of emotional reactions to the world around me.

A native New Zealander, I have lived in Australia, and now make my home in Maplewood, New Jersey with my wife, son, and a rotating cast of cats.
